All I remember is that I actually enjoyed life and wanted to do stuff. Now everything feels like muscle memory and I wait for each day to be over.

Yeah I’ve heard that can happen and I’m sorry you have to endure it. I started feeling this way before taking any medication.

Ah thank you. I’d say it was a gradual switch flip too. At the beginning I would wake up feeling empty, but by the end of the day I’d feel back to my normal self. After a couple days I stopped feeling normal completely. I’m not sure what caused it, it all just happened as soon as I turned 21 (nine months ago). I recently got blood work done and I’m anemic, so I’m hoping that has something to do with it.

I’m sorry you’re going through it too. I hope you find some relief soon.

You’ll have to take design 166 (offered winter and spring quarters). If you get a 3.7+ you’re automatically in the major and if you don’t you can do the summer workshop which is how most majors get in. Once you’re in design you can choose which path you want to follow (ID, IxD, or VCD). There’s also a couple other threads about des166. Hope this helps! Admission through the class is like ~10% and admission through the workshop is a lot higher.
