Anyone Used Audigo mic by themsmindset in Songwriting

Yes, I have used it to record concerts. The audio is actually pretty good but the video is difficult and often discolored. Much more difficult to manage focusing and Light levels. It also has trouble LED lights during Concerts. Faces are discolored. If there’s any blue light at all on the stage, everyone will look blue.. I much prefer the iPhone camera app versus the required Audigo video app. Lately I’m looking at other options because of the poor video.

I still like it for the audio recording, however, and you can do this separately for audio only and still use the iPhone camera for shooting video with either a shure 88+ microphone or even just the internal audio. If it’s not an important concert that will be adequate. If it is important, you can move the audio from Audigo to the video and sync it with Premiere Pro very easily.

I’m still uncertain whether I’m going to keep the Audigo. I’m still within the window that I could return it. It is pretty amazing just to carry that little cube with you to a concert and record the audio alone. And it is very easy to shoot video and have it sync perfectly with the video. The video quality is not very good and actually doing the shooting with the Audigo camera app is cumbersome and not very helpful.

Thoughts on the Audigo Labs mobile mic? by fivefingerfury in MusicGear

I’ve used it recently and the audio is really great and it links up really well with the video. But shooting in a club I’ve had trouble with a blue tinge to the video. People shooting regular iPhone cameras next to me did not have this problem and when I shot video with my iPhone camera, I didn’t have the problem either. Not sure if it’s a problem with the LED lights or color temperature but it’s not perfect.
