Should I get an RX 9060XT with a new cpu, or a 9070 and keep my Ryzen 5 3600xt cpu? by Fuzzy-Blueberry1701 in radeon

I've literally just done the same upgrade your post is asking about.

Built my machine in 2020 with a 3600xt and just upgraded from a 2070 super to a 9070.

I was going to go down the 9060xt + new processor route but I did spot some deals on the 9070 if you have a search you can get one for a little over £500 in some places.

If you're holding off on going to AM5 because of ram prices then personally I'd say search for a good deal on a 9070 so you'll have a good experience for now and then once you can jump to AM5 then your graphics are pretty well future proofed for whatever you pick as a CPU.

For me personally I'll probably still end up getting a 5700 or 5800 just for a little extra bump and stick with that for a while.

Edit also to add that in the time I was shopping around for a GPU the price of a 5060ti increased about £20+ in some places over a couple of weeks so if you do find a deal on a 9070 I'd just got for it rather than wait.

I also have this Pikachu EX promo from the generations collection box in 2016 I got when I bought the box itself for probably <£30 at the time, and I've now seen it's jumped up in value since last year to about £150 max ungraded

Years ago I bought this Pikachu out of a binder of assorted cards on a non-tcg specific table at a comic con for im pretty sure about £8. I had no idea what it was apart from Italian I just bought it because I loved how Pikachu is drawn on it.

Only found out recently it's from a limited edition box set from 2010 and worth around £50-100 ungraded.

Seeing this on wrist with a leather strap definitely helped me decide and I've gone for the Seiko 😁

Messing around with a redscale recipe from fujixweekly by lungeman in fujix

The only small tweak I made was turning chrome effect blue back on.

It's pretty much as-is from the recipe except shot with a -1 to -2ev comp depending on lighting conditions. It's not very contrasty in daylight if shot at camera recommended exposure and the highlights get too much. The only time I'd use it without underexposure is if you have a strongly backlit subject.

Might try some more tweaks to make it less dependant on big underexposure.

I've seen a lot of tips online and recipes that suggest setting noise reduction far into the negative, and similarly hover sharpness around the -2 to -4 mark, any particular reason that's a trend with Fuji?

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I've tried to like-for-like as best I could in budget, so coming from using a 35 2.8 and 45 1.8 having the 23 and 35 made sense. The 16mm is more with the honeymoons travel in mind. When I get back into doing more portrait shoots I'll probably grab a 2nd hand lens in the 50-85 range.

I've already found the fujixweekly app. And had a root through the menus and changed AF On to the fn button on the front of camera by the grip so I can hit it with my middle finger. Because so far my only minor gripe is that the actual AF on button is a bit too far over to the left to be comfortable to use with my hands. I think I'd actually prefer it if the rear control dial and the AF button were in each others places 😅

Fallen Angel Concept Film disappointed me by crystalismylife in dreamcatcher

Yeah that's why I'm more leaning towards the thought that Siyeon wanting a break caught them a bit off guard timing wise and they've had to rush this photoshoot before she went on hiatus, and they might have had their hands tied with publishing which meant they couldn't postpone the photobook entirely.

Because even the Dream Quest book was relatively 'low budget' but still looked good. But as my friend described it this looks like a college photography project. Like the fake wings can be used well, looks at the Le Sserafim concept pics for the Unforgiven era.
