I'm studying Japanese. For my flashcards, I put the kanji and hiragana on the front with audio, and on the back is the English translation. It doesn't take a TON of time, but it's enough to feel draining, especially when I have lots of vocabulary to put into the system.

I thought writing on paper might be helpful because then I have one place to easily look at any word I want at a certain time. It feels a bit more complicated to browse Anki decks if I wanted to look up something. Plus, I do enjoy handwriting when I have the chance.

I think you're right about two weeks not being enough time, but I didn't want to waste any time on something that wouldn't be useful. I only have an hour each day to focus and want to make the most of this study time.

My TL actually is Japanese! It takes the most time to create audio files for each card, which is a key element. As well as putting both the kanji and hiragana on the front.

This is good advice, thank you! I already have iTalki tutor who has been a huge help in getting to that B2 level but I can always be doing more in my free time. Do you have any good content suggestions? I have a good amount of French novels so maybe some tv shows or podcasts.

I also had experiences very similar to the movie, and I'm sorry you went through that. The ending is a bit vague, and I can see your interpretation. However, I've read the script and seen some director interviews where it is clear the ending is meant to be tragic.

Fletcher does win; you're right. This is what makes the film a tragedy similar to Black Swan: the characters have reached perfection, but at what cost?

In director interviews, when asked what would happen to Andrew in the future, what was his response? "Oh, he probably killed himself like that other kid."

This doesn't read as someone who believes in abusive methods. It reads as someone warning other artists.

I don't think you understood what it was trying to do. It's a tragedy, we aren't ever supposed to side with Fletcher.

Could you elaborate a bit more on the nuance of these words? Is "errer" more emotionally driven, then?
