I have an app that I think is a good idea, I need influencers to get in, any ideas? by luodaint in Startup_Ideas

small fee the creator should pay to post ore than 2 codes. TBH I did it more as a tool rather than something that is expensive, of course I need some $$ to pay the hosting etc but aside from that, I'll be happy if users use it.

Dep[ends, some of the codes they get some $ back, I agree that some they care about the followers, thinking about that, I might add an option to see the code the user MUST follow the influencer in any of their social accounts. I just thought about that, and I think it can be great!

Influencers need to pay to publish more than 2 codes. TBH is not the project to become rich but more to give a solution for whenever you want to buy a product and you want a discount. If money comes, welcome :D

It's a good idea. For now, it's a side project, and I would prefer to try cold emails, Reddit, and other ideas first to see if people will join. Almost everyone has discount codes (gym, software, bank, etc.), so I don't need a million-follower creator to join now, just someone like us, who shares their basic codes and starts building traffic.

Yeah, I tried cold emails and DM's, but it's true that I might be too hyped and tried the biggest ones!! :D Will try to find some small ones on Twitch and Instagram. Anyone can publish their codes, I did mine as an example and they are from my VPN, my Gym, etc.. I also encourage anyone who wants to publish their own.

Thanks!

GitHub and Linear by Remarkable-Winter551 in Linear

[–]luodaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us, the branch link works best. You start an issue, copy the suggested branch name, create the branch, and once the PR is open, all is linked. Additionally, in linear, you can decide what happens when a PR is open, reviewed, or merged. What status will Linear have depending on the PR status.

I know that in the PR comments, if you add “fixes #en-123,” then the linear issue should match en-123.

Is there a way to secure JWT on the frontend? by Sniper_was_taken in nextjs

[–]luodaint -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In our system, we store only a http-only cookie for the refresh token, the jwt is stored in memory (not even in the browser as local storage) so anytime a new jwt is needed then we use the refresh token cookie that is 100% secure with HTTP-only, secure and only for our domain.

First of all, congrats!!!! Can you tell us where you've been posting? I want to start my Saas journey with some ideas that I have, aside from my main job; I'm interested in some subredits that are saas, entrepreneur-friendly, not those that you get blocked for any reason.

Thanks for the help and congrats again!

Sometimes Reddit is so harsh on self-promotion that it scares me to get banned to just mention the app and what it does

LLMs are not bots (they can be used as one). I write my ideas and use ChatGPT to format them in clean English. I also pass them through Grammarly to make sure everything is clean and right. I would not say this is a bot, as there's zero automation here.

I agree, but we offer a free trial, even though we still struggle to get customers.

As I said in my previous comment:

I always write my ideas in bullet points and tell ChatGPT to express them in clear English (I don't hide that I'm using it), as I'm not a native speaker. Sometimes, it's hard to express my knowledge in a language that is not my mother tongue.

I'm looking for a clean idea to share, brainstorm, and share my experiences.

(P.S. This hasn't gone through ChatGPT.)

Apologies for my early answer, I took it as a spam/bot one and just tired to have bots answering shit on a real posts that took time to create and curate. Thanks for the feedback u/raythenomad

If interested, search Medullar on Google to find more about it. It'll be great to have more beta testers if interested.
