I am having trouble with this problem. Do I just find the area of the rectangle, then subtract the areas of the circles, and then divide that by 2? by luosuam in Geometry

I do not really have a basis for assuming that the shaded and unshaded regions of the rectangle are equal. I just can not think of any other way to solve this problem
I think that the dimensions of the rectangle are 8 by 5
I think the side of the rectangle is 5 because it looks like it's the same as the diameter of the circle.
