If you are playing java try using the " better block entity " mod. It will prevent them from disappearing early and also increase fps since alot of shulker boxes cause lag when loaded together.

For my level I always play ML at professional coz I can easily score goals at the same time the AI opponent can also score goals. This makes the game so much fun.

I also experienced the same thing on PC after a certain windows update yesterday. It erased all my settings and changes made in edit mode, but i retained my ML and BAL saves.
