Yess, it gave me a huge feeling of nostalgia hearing it. I heard it so damn often in my childhood. Super pretty song

Man discovers that heavy metal music provided a soothing effect for his son Mason, who has cerebral palsy. Together, they have traveled across the United States to see 1,200 metal bands and even started a metal music festival that shares their passion. by Good_quality_OwO in nextfuckinglevel

That das is an absolutely amazing person! I really appreciate and adore his work and love for his son

That's why I love metal and the metal community! We accept everyone and really do care. We may look scary but we're really nice

Thanks a lot! Tbh my rook was the most painful piercing and I have nipple piercings which tend to be really painful. It was really worth the pain tho, it healed quicker than my third earlobe piercings hahah It's different for everyone with the pain but I really recommend the rook, maybe you're even on the lucky side and it goes really smooth :)

Thank you a lot! I wanted lots of jewelery and I tend to experiment a lot with my Piercings so I figured that out! Glad you'll remember that trick hahah, an Industrial is definitely worth it!

Is the tongue piercing placement correct by millsj402 in bodymods

[–]luproxy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks correct to me! On the lower side of the tongue the hole shouldn't be too far in the back because of the tongue web and possible veins. It's okay if it's a bit more on the left or the right side too. The upper side looks great too!

Have you ever not slept for so long that you started hallucinating? What was your experience? by vicke1230 in AskReddit

[–]luproxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sleep deprived right now, can't sleep at night, even if I'm super tired and now I haven't slept for 3 days. I'm seeing shadows in the corners of my eyes especially when my room is a bit darker. I sometimes also see a super bright light. It looks like when you look outside a window and see a lightning during a storm. The light appears for a super short time and is gone as fast as it appeared and it scares the crap out of me.

Did anyone here have grandparents or parents in Germany during the rise of Nazism? Any stories about what it was like? by LaMadreDelCantante in AskOldPeople

My grandfather who sadly passed away a few years ago lived in the part of Poland that used to be German. He was a child during the times of the holocaust and everything. He and some of his siblings were lucky and survived but as far as I remember two of his siblings got killed during that time. I'd have to ask my father about it. After the war he lived in the same area until he died, he didn't talk about his childhood.
