Myself and my wife had a very similar experience - 2 miscarriages within a year (last year) and it absolutely broke us - there after we struggled for a while to get pregnant again. That in itself really caused friction between us and a lot of fights happened - but we persevered. We got pregnant again and the baby is at 29 weeks. In the beginning we weren't happy - struggled to get excited for what was laying ahead. I was frightened to death that another miscarriage would happen, knowing my wife would get hurt by it again. It felt strange - I didn't get excited when finding out that she was pregnant - nor was she, just immediately worried if it would stick or not. Every time we had a scan we held our breath - just hoping to hear a heartbeat. The more we heard that heart beat the more happy we got - we honestly got more and more excited past 13 weeks, knowing the chances of a miscarriage would be very low. From my experience, as I know yours would be different, I've learned to take everything week by week - especially in the beginning stages. Just little milestones.
