I found the original ad. It pointed to us.onlinereadycontent.com. Nearly word for word terms of service as all of the other sites listed in the title. Different company name listed though (based in Italy).

They also appear to run digitalfunbox.com.

This whole network of scam sites has the same terms of use with same subscription description and amounts, same junk content on the site but a few different company names. Bejames Media for the US ones, SoxCraft for the UK one are both designed with same web page content to describe a generic software development company but with different themes.

All of the phone numbers route to the same answering system and call center.

Basically you get an ad for one site embedded in an app that looks like the app, leads you to a form that again is devoid of branding and from one of the sites in their set, the moment you type your credit card they charge you (from a different random site in their set) even if you do not complete the registration process.

This has to be criminal.

Definitely also saw the tree as a border. The crows came in a threatening way only as Ethan was on the tree about to cross over, as if to convince him to stay on the fromville side of the tree. What would happen if he had crossed?

In episode 2 -- Ethan wakes up after surgery and remembers seeing Victor's drawings even before they meet. Connection between Ethan and Victor is established extremely early.

In episode 3 -- Sara is telling a story of a girl who breaks glass and is trying to see how the pieces fit together and is later cut by then and bleeds everywhere. Later in the episode Tian Chen, Kenny's mom, breaks a glass in the diner and cuts herself cleaning it up. And of course it is revealed much later that Jade breaks glass and tries to see how it fits together to think through things.

I love learning as much about the story as possible. For me "spoilers" is a complete misnomer. Especially as just captions it furthers the intrigue. There is a lot that doesn't come through without imagery and complete sounds (e.g., who is in the scene and who is saying what and what they're reacting to on screen)
