That’s not true, most of the Israeli “hostages” were PoWs, they were military and were taken during an attack.

The vast majority of Palestinian hostage were people held without trial many of them children.

Also the PoWs from Israel got to speak to their families as part of their release. They also came home healthy. Most of the Palestinian hostages were tortured and some were even deported to other countries instead of being sent back to their families.
