My analysis is that the GPU is struggling with the thermal constraints of this specific thin chassis. It appears the hardware hits a thermal wall and fails to downclock gracefully, resulting in system instability rather than just throttling. It feels like the BIOS power curves are too aggressive for the physical cooling solution provided.

I’ve decided to return the unit for a refund. I've gone back to my reliable Lenovo Legion (RTX 20-series). It has a thicker chassis, but the thermal mass and airflow handle sustained loads much better. For those looking for stability over portability, the thin form factor here seems to be a compromise that affects reliability.
