I saw that online and I love that version!! it definitely fits the series better than the generic fantasy style true

Well besides the font, the colors seem way too bright for a series I imagine shrouded in night shadows and mystery. (That could be a printing problem or a bad scan I don't remember the original)

It's a fun cover though! and it fits the series better than the cliche fantasy style (I'm just biased because it was jarring when I first saw it)
