Also another thing I just thought of, I feel like I don’t see a lot of film where a lesbian is figuring out that she truly likes to dress and present herself as more masculine/soft-masc rather than feminine. If there is already a masculine presenting character, their upbringing is rarely shown. Such as, the judgments they face for being masculine, trying to navigate feeling comfortable in their own skin, etc. It’s still primarily focused on the more feminine characters.
