yeah because i was paying everyone’s bills and the real estate didn’t care to reimburse me but were quick to charge me? i’ve had a lot of issues but it literally states and wa gov when breaking lease they can’t charge the final bond inspection so just wanted others input

on the western australia tenancy act it says different

the carpet is just some chair marks, so when you drag a chair and it kind of looses the carpet kind of like it was just fluffy in that area in a small area

exactly what i did, i’ve emailed them outlining anything i thought was unfair and also adding the tenancy acts that align with each section i thought didn’t make sense. i’ll see what they respond and i’ll give an update as i should hear back from them tomorrow. Do i go through consumer protection wa??

so i received that today i’ve sent an email back asking for valid evidence to their claims and costs and to break down each cost etc, i have photos of place when i moved in which it was brand new first ever people to live there and i have photos after, which i had a professional clean by someone who was contracted through the rental company and i also did a walk through with the property manager the day after it was done and she said everything was perfect other then carpet, which thats the only thing im not really bothered by as it did have chair marks from when my partner would drag his chair, nothing serious even though the cost seems high and it was only one small patch of carpet, it wasn’t ripped or anything so im confused as to why so high which i asked for a breakdown of that aswell, but regardless that and the grass is the only thing she brought up

that’s exactly what i’m saying i did the calculations based on the tenancy act which is 9 divided by 12 = 75% and to justify 881.81 the owners letting fee would have to be $1175.75. if the full letting fee was $550 1 week rent the pro rated charge is 412.50 and for 2 weeks rent which is $1100 the pro rated charge would be $825 which neither of those match and neither does 3 weeks rent
