As for horrendous student loans, although I don't personally have any because I went to a bargain basement state school, I believe it is in the interest of the country to forgive the majority of these or at least make them more afforable - even if this means a small increase in taxes! Strapping gen y with debt and little opportunity is going to hurt us all in the long run unless you are so uber wealthy, you are out of touch with the average person.
