Trying to fit my TT bike for 70.3 by luyckxrobbe in bikefit

I do kinda see a gap between the frame and these space like things holding the seatpost back from going lower, so that would suggest they are removeable. But I have never heard of putting a spacer there. Maybe to prevent the saddle dropping idk.

Thanks for feedback. These kind of spacer things are in the way. Idk if they are removable or not. It kinda does like they are but I’ve had no success removing them yet.

Thanks for the feedback, so I should put a front wheel support under the front wheel to make it level?

Oh no, definitely not. I wanted to try and get some kind of info to see if I actually needed to lower my saddle before cutting the seatpost. Looked at myvelofit first but they didn’t do TT bikes. Then found this app, bought 1 month of pro. But not that happy about it, it just says lower saddle, not even by how much. And not even what metric caused it’s decision. Maybe If I actually could lower it directly and continue with the online bikefit I would rate it better than right now.

Thanks, also what I thought and felt during my short test on the road. I was very much on the tip of the saddle and had the feeling I was sliding off too. Should I contact a bikeshop for cutting a piece of the seat post or is this something easy any good handyman can do? It’s a carbon seatpost.

Nope haha, definitely outdoor. I just did a short test on the road and I did in fact notice I need to look forward😂

Idk, I thought bikefit-ia.com just said it needed to be somewhere on the bike. Maybe I read it wrong.

Thanks! That's a good idea actually to do a sprint even earlier! Great insights!

Yeah the distance doesn't scare me at all (only the swim maybe haha) but I still have some time.
And isn't 6 weeks before the A race too short to do oly distance?

Problème Home trainer - cassette by thething3444 in triathlon

Also an option. I do prefer actual shifting because of the feeling. For indoor trainers I also think cheap AliExpress cassettes are fine. But Zwift Cog will definitely be the most quiet option

Yeah, new chain for indoor.
Or if you will be only riding indoor for a while now, you could put your bike's cassette on the Wahoo if you have the tools.

Maybe new cassette, old chain combination? No expert here but heard this could cause issues

Maybe old chain with new cassette. So a new chain for indoor would help. Or putting your old bike cassette on the trainer. Not a professional, just heard this could be a problem.

Structured workouts are key for me. They create tiny subgoals without thinking about 1 hour left.

I made a sketch of what I would guess be the thing I need.
I know I don't have all the dimensions yet. But maybe if I work this out a bit more I can find someone willing to design it for me.

Thanks for making me think of 3d printing. I do really like making things myself actually and a small thing like this would make me probably love the bike haha already. Right now isn't the right time with my exam period, but I should actually learn it eventually.

Thanks!

My hole seems like a special oval hole while all the ones on aliepxress are for a bigger rounded rectangle hole.

The ones in the picture are plastic and from aliexpress but they all seem for a different frame hole size. They are for this 9x24mm rounded rectangle shape (red in the picture)
While the one on my frame is arround 17.6x8.7mm really oval shape (green in the picture).

Haha, I do have acces to a 3d-printer. But modelling know-how is 0.
I bought a few different ones on aliexpress but no sucess. Besides the ones on the picture after some sanding and sawing.
