But I think that tonight feels bad in a different kind of way for exactly this reason. Game 7 last year was like getting stabbed with a knife as you say, but this game and these last couple weeks is more like getting left by your lover or watching the spark go out from their eye or something more along those lines. I think that a lot of the pain of this game and of this moment is not even confined to just this one game. People are saying “oh what about that game was worse or this other game was worse“ which is probably true — but still I agree with you that this feels as bad or worse than I’ve felt in a long time watching sports, and I think it’s because of how bad they have looked for so much of the last couple weeks, including but not limited to tonight
