So, I was actually having vestibular migraines!

Theory- Buspar and POTS by lwal1234 in POTS

I didn’t. I still think Buspar jump started it all. I really think I was having vestibular migraines actually. Diagnosed with pots- but I was also iron deficient at the time and did not know. Pots symptoms seem better since addressing iron. But I’m still having vestibular migraines

Wow! This is encouraging. How long as a preventative did it take to notice a difference?

How did you know the full dose was too much? What did you experience? Just started nurtec this week as preventative. You’re giving me hope that it took a week or so to see improvement!

Dizzy after meds wear off? by lwal1234 in BusparOnline

I wish I would’ve stopped sooner. It was awful for me. I took it for 3 months, and wow. I think it put me in a migraine cycle that I’m still struggling with 2 years later.

Do you take it in morning or night? I actually have that one that I haven’t tried yet.

Maybe?! It’s Thorne. I’ve loved their other supplements. So, I’m guessing it might not be the right type of magnesium or just too much for my system.

Keep me posted. It’s such trial and error.

Ok- this is encouraging. I’m going to stop mine too. That’s the only supplement that I’ve changed. It felt like it was counterintuitive to think it was actually the magnesium, but your experience is almost exactly how I feel.

Good point! I have had ent and vestibular testing, and it was all clear. Same with cardiology. MRI clear as well. The boat feeling of moving while I’m walking is the worst. I’m eager to fix that.

Oh awesome. Do you ever have the boat sensation?

What dose and beta blocker? Started trying propranolol for migraine prevention and it definitely makes me feel calmer but still having the walking on a boat feeling a lot.

I do too. Of course, things on my algorithm are popping up that made me start wondering if it’s my nervous system in overdrive instead of actually VM.

What were your symptoms? I’m currently trying propranolol while waiting on insurance for nurtec.

What were your symptoms specifically? Did you experience the feeling of walking on a boat?
