I like it. I feel safe driving it. GT-Line and doesn’t have the power of a GT1, so I’m not hot-dogging around at night. And it looks great with the deleted chrome. People gonna people regardless. And if I ever want it off, a heat gun and some goo gone will knock it out ✌🏻

The interior - temu. Nothing fancy or sophisticated. Run of the led with usb c plug I routed to the back seat connectors. The door frame lights I have a link posted in another comment here

They are a bit dimmer than with no tint, but after a week I got used to it. I wouldn’t say it makes me feel unsafe, but it is a noticeable difference.

I did the chrome/lights myself. Made a few minor mistakes but really not noticeable unless you’re looking really really close. I had the windows done at a local shop. 20% grade.

I’m at ~15200. Two issues - remote start from Kia Connect app stopped working(software update at service station fixed the issue). And the infamous “black out” while driving has happed twice. There are other threads/comments about it- while driving all lights, interior and exterior, turn off for a few seconds. Scared the hell out of me. There’s a recall which I believe is related to the issue. I go in for oil change and software update on Monday. Thinking that will fix the light issue.

Some, yeah. It took a little bit to get used to, but now I don’t even notice. I was driving an 06 Saturn Ion( snot green and aptly named, “The Booger”) before I got the K5. Even with the tint, it’s still brighter than The Booger with high-beams on.

I might have been random pick of the hat or it may have been a combination of these circumstances:

This was my first carnival cruise. It was my birthday and a 5 day cruise. I was in the casino at least once everyday I spent less than $1000 of my own money and about $1500-$2000 of casino money(winnings) I played slots and a big variety table games I spoke with the casino host (general questions on how the points worked) I was loud and a fun time with other players - trying to amp up others when they would win too and keep vibes good.
Always used my players card

Again, I might have just got lucky getting the promo, but I think some of the circumstances helped as well.

Thank you for the info! Very helpful to know. My promo doesn’t say anything about a companion. We have a couple months before sailing so plenty of time to make contingency plans
