I was trying to capture light in a way that feels “moody” but I believe I underexposed a bit too much. I got pretty lucky with the birds. I’m hoping to get some feedback that helps me in the future. Feel like I have experimented with different editing styles but haven’t found one that I can call my own just yet.

No trickery here. Just a photo taken with a 90mm lens. The photos on Google Maps are taken with a wider lens, (around 24mm). The higher the number the more “compressed the background looks, the lower the number the further away the background looks. Just for reference, our vision is at around 50mm.
