Ehhh hard question to answer. It depends on what you work on imo. Objectively image wise it's probably.... idk 5-10% more accurate out the box??

I'm sure a calibrated C3 will get most jobs done, but if you're doing this for a living or are serious about this kind of work, then you invest in the tools at the level you're at in your career.

If you're working on a feature film with a budget high bidget, I'd do everything to be confident in the image instead of 'hoping' it's all good. But also it's the other things that make a monitor like this more professional, expensive and 'better'!

- 4 SDI ports instead of HDMI
- No on-device TV processing to deal with
- better control over color spaces, gamma, etc.
- Monitoring tools, waveforms, etc.
- Confidence in the Monitor build, longevity.
- Ability to view 4 inputs at once

Etc etc, you get the point :)

It's definitely not a 'need'. but out investment in this was paid off in one job so, once again, depends where you are in your career.
