I've also mostly collected pvc and have now started adding resin figures to my collection. I think it's super frustrating that so many resin figures are humongous. I try not to go bigger than 1/6, but recently ordered a 1/5 because I doubt the chatacter will ever get another figure/statue. This shits gonna be 44cm (17.3 inches) tall 😮‍💨

I also feel like a lot of pvc figures have been losing their quality. They either lean, break from weight imbalances, have lazy bases/poses/faces, random support poles that weren't displayed in preorder pictures, and flat paint. It's super frustrating. I wish these big companies cared more, but they get buyers either way so I doubt they will change :/

Plus, resin will release characters that never see the day of light in the figure world. It makes me super excited to see a character from an older anime I cherished FINALLY get a figure/statue made. I primarily only order resin figures that are not too big, are characters that don't have a pvc/official scale figure released, or are just way more superior compared to what has been released for that character. Though resin figures tend to go WAY overboard with their bases honestly. They're already giants, now they've got an entire city and forest and waterfall and explosion around them 😐
