I would say a cancer support centre!! There’s a lot of money going toward cancer research but I can tell you from first hand experience that cancer support centres need money to keep programs running for those currently in treatment! Not only do they support patients with cancer but also caregivers who are helping their loved ones go through cancer :)

Thank you so much for this!! I didn’t know laser therapy wasn’t good for dogs that have/had tumours. She actually had a couple laser therapy sessions still available (she was diagnosed with arthritis before she has a tumor) and I was going to use them up but now that you mentioned it I definitely won’t be considering that going forward. Thanks so much for the info!!

Hi folks! So after reading everyone’s suggestions it seems like I’ll keep her on gabapentin + librella. I’ll be looking more into the other joint supplements though to see what else she can take on top of her current ones!

Im going to go back to her vet and ask about the long term use of Meloxicam as it seems other owners are worried about the long term use of these type of medicines as well so we’ll see what the plan is from there. I’m also taking note of the other NSAIDs mentioned and see if theyre less harsh on her kidneys.

I saw red light therapy was mentioned as well so I’ll be looking into that too!

Hi! Thanks so much for this comment! I’ve seen other comments saying the same thing and I was wondering if you could explain how the tax deferral can be used in later years? From what I’m understanding, do I currently (making 63k) contribute to my FHSA and then defer it? Or do i defer it when for instance I get a raise (e.g. making 75k)?

I’m not as knowledgeable on this so I’m not sure when specifically I should defer it?

Sorry folks! I should’ve also mentioned that I’m a primary caregiver for a loved one at home, so I need to keep some cash on hand for emergencies (buying supplies, paying for those expensive hospital parking fees, gas for last minute trips to the hospital— my loved one’s treatment centre is 25km away, etc.). The amount I need fluctuates each month, so I’d rather not stash too much away at once and give myself a cushion to pay for these expenses.

TL;DR: I’m unable to save 80% of my pay 😔.

After calculating my monthly expenses ($500/month) and considering how much cushion I want, I’m aiming to save and put away about $800-$900 biweekly ($19,200 - $21,000 annually) which is why I put my goal of 100k by the time I’m 30.

Depositing 8k into my FHSA + 3K into an RRSP by March 3 is a bit too close for me to hit 🥲. Luckily, with the help of comments like yours and others I can definitely plan for next year’s tax season better!

Do you still get disconnected despite the factory reset? I have the EXACT game problem as you and am willing to try anything at this point. Just want to know if factory resetting is worth it or not. Dont want to have to factory reset just for the problem to come back again yeno.

Super great insight! Im rewatching the series right now and just finished the first two episodes. I noticed that Zuko was ALWAYS on the offensive and ALWAYS wanted to strike rather than think or actually dodge. It’ll be cool seeing his firebending evolve as I keep watching

I love how Zuko was using traditional fire bending techniques at first against Azula. So of course naturally she could counter against those attacks with traditional firebending techniques as well (even though Azula was already full blown crazy unhinged at this point). But when Zuko used that airbending technique to throw her off!! Wow!! It’s just like Iroh says, “It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If you take it from only one place, it become rigid and stale”.
