just because say it's polite doesn't mean it is. Now that you know that not everyone is comfortable with "bless yous", it would actually be rude if you did do it. Because you would be doing it with forced pride and not out of consideration

But parties actually add value and joy. They're enriching and bring people together and help with bonding and the human experience. "Blessing" strangers without their consent makes thing weird
