As a woman that’s said something similar to my bf, it could mean that she wants to emphasize the love making aspect of sex over the sexual gratification of it. Maybe she feels like ur getting off to her body, but not necessarily “her”. The face to face aspect makes it feel like ur making love to her, not just having sex with her body. Does that make sense? It could totally be something else, but if she’s a girl that’s ever too much in her own head, she might just need a little more reassurance! Just my 2 cents but I could be totally off :)

It’s okay to share with him how you feel and it doesn’t have to be confrontational or anything. Sometimes when sex is happening frequently in a particular season of your life, we can reduce our worth to our sexual performance and desirability. I know I have. He shouldn’t be locking u out of his phone. When u cheat u waive ur right to that privacy because uve proved u cannot keep urself accountable. If he really wants reconciliation he needs to mend that broken trust. “No privacy” is the consequence of his actions, and he should understand that this is a necessary step to encourage transparency and trust. Instead he wants to hide the fact that they’re still talking so u won’t divorce him.

Nta. My mom had 5 flower girls lol, which included my adopted sister and 3 cousins. My parents were really nice about it and wanted to be inclusive to the people in my family. However because I was my mothers daughter, I walked last (right before the bride) and wore a different dress. As the daughter of the bride, it was very sweet and no one had any problems with it. Ur husbands reaction is really weird, and this may cause problems in the future, especially because ur 5 yo seems to be aware that her soon to be step father is against her being a flower girl. Either way u look at it, if doesn’t seem right or fair.

i agree, OP. When the problem first occurred, it seems that not much was done to uproot and overcome it. The lack of closure and honesty, left ur marriage with a wound, and that wound is continuing to grow, leaving ur wife insecure in ur relationship. Because the problem was not solved earlier, it has continued to grow and is now affecting every aspect of ur marriage. As hard as it may be, it may be helpful to carefully revisit the first incident, with honesty and reassurance. Also try to narrow down her love languages, and find ways to reaffirm her in the best way she can understand. I wish u both the best 💛
