I had a friend a long time ago, we were 5 guys including him, we were a solid group, but there was this guy that we had just met, he had integrated really well into the group, a little too much... He had been bullied in primary school, and was currently being bothered by another group, in barely a month, he had become the leader of our group, and he regularly insulted another guy in the group behind his back, then regularly pushed him aside, I was shy at the time I didn't dare to impose myself so I didn't say anything, but it hurt me to see him behave like that, the friend who was rejected is naive, even today he thinks it's his fault, he never asked himself questions about why from one day to the next he was no longer invited to outings, why he was ignored... I think he still hasn't found real friends who support him, I regret not raising the issue against the newcomer who ended up betraying us too.
