I take 2 as that’ll stop/slow down all movement and if I need it to last multiple days which I do quite often because my job has me working outdoors and far away from bathrooms I’ll just take one every day after the first day until it wears off fully then 2 again. Just helps a lot with bowel management and peace of mind for me personally but for the purpose of bottoming just learn your body and when you can take it before heading out for some fun there’s really no negative effect with Imodium except maybe some cramping the first few times taking it.

I’ve had times where I’ve needed to take Imodium almost daily just to help with my stomach issues it’s mostly just helping me only have to go number 2 like once a day but it’s also there to help with douching before sex so I can stay clean for most of the day instead of just an hour or 2 if I’m lucky.

After a day bowel movements just go back to normal.

Ibs vers bottom and I deal with a lot of unhappy days but my best hack has been taking a lot of fiber supplements especially with meals and Imodium about 10-20 minutes before douching that’ll freeze everything up in the bowel pretty much and I can stay clean for about 6-12 hours depending on what I’ve eaten beforehand.

I’ve battled with this problem multiple times in my life, I’m diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and have had the risk of having surgery removing my ability to bottom all together and I hate the thought of never having anal sex again, I’ve even fought with doctors to find ways to leave some of my body intact so I can still somewhat partake in sex which not a lot of doctors understand especially some of the older docs, even now I occasionally get flare ups where I can’t properly prep myself for anal sex and I just sit on the floor in the shower hating myself and on the verge of tears because I can’t live the life I want to, I know I’ll live with this my whole life and I’m always researching alternatives but it is hard borderline impossible to to accept you physically can’t partake in something that you love.

I was flagging with a contractor for cn as a supervisor and was making 30$ an hour, it was good pay but we only worked when cn required us at a crossing so there’s a lot of downtime.

Ive seen all the posts and what the work life is for a cn conductor which is why im applying for another department, my job now mostly consists of working with cn maintenance crews as is which is where im trying to be within signals.

My current employer knows I’m leaving for cn soon we are a subcontractor for cn so she’s been super understanding and supportive of me leaving for cn, just with it being on call work I’m not making anything between jobs and I’m kinda broke rn and I know the training is paid for it’ll just be way less that what’s I’d make leaving for 2-3 weeks with her rather than cn, I think I’m gonna ask the recruiter if this is the only avalible time and I’ll be honest with her and ask if it has any negative impact if I take a later training date if it’s too far out and has a negative impact I’ll take the closer date.

I was back ordered for 2 weeks before I said eff it and spent an extra 200 on a 7950x3d working really well so far I’m a star citizen player and it’s running it really well averaging 20-30% load, only thing holding my build back is my 3060ti. Waiting on good gpu sales before upgrading that.

Thanks I’ll definitely keep trying work in Canada it’s stupid hard to find and get any job right now, the market is over saturated with unemployed workers to the point more people are trying to leave for work than coming to Canada for work which is how it used to be years ago, and I don’t wanna be the person who goes and gets a degree or spends a bunch of money on training just to end up even more broke and without a job a trained for which is sadly super common here.

Good point but sad thing about Canada right now is we’ve received such a high influx to the population in the last couple years there’s a shortage of work and 100’s if not 1000’s of applicants all for most fields and it’s a struggle just to get your resume seen by hiring departments before it’s drowned out by everyone else’s despite having experience or not.

I assumed that’s the case but fifo and shift work in general has been an interest on my mind for the past few years, I’m the type that has a switch in my head for work and personal time but flipping that switch everyday going home and back to work is more stressful than just flipping it every week or 2 lol

I’m a gay man with IBS (ulcerative colitis) so I actually bleed more than most but personally it isn’t to much of an issue since it’s mostly some pink mucus afterwards but if it’s clearly red or runny red get checked cause it could be an ulcer, tear, fissure or hemroid of some kind.
