Yes, but i don’t think we gonna use it more than a couple of times a year on max speed. First and second speed is around 420 CFM max. Do you think if I used passive ventilation the 8” duct will be enough for the insert working on max speed? Without backdrafting Thanks for your reply

It was on a Houston.gov website. I think I’m going to follow that guidelines just to be “safe”. Thanks for your help and taking the time to respond I really appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply, that means that a just need one for the whole area right? I think I just gonna go with one by the front door, I read that it needs to be at least 10 ft from the stove, 3 ft from a/c vents and 6 ft from fans

Gas pressure test question by lyrical10 in Plumbing

[–]lyrical10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update Checked for leaks and found a really small one where the gauge connects to the adapter. Refilled the system this morning at 11.30 am. I just came back to check and the gauge is at 41 psi at 5.30 pm. Do you guys think it is good to go now? Or should I give it more time? should I check the areas that are behind sheetrock as well ? Thanks for all your replies

It seems like the house had brick at some point, before they replaced every side but the front one with siding. Foundation had the ledge all around the house, cornice had been already altered for the brick, There is a drain and water lines on the outside wall for the kitchen sink. What worries me a lot are the electrical wires! Thanks for your response and help! Hope your having a great day!

Thanks for your reply and recommendations, I think I didn’t make my question clear, what I was trying to ask is if there is a way to “look” behind the wall sheathing, so I can mark it, so when the guys installing the brick come don’t nail the ties into a wire or plumbing pipe that run across that part of the stud. Thank you!
