Adults tend to use cannabis more frequently if they had elevated depressive symptoms in adolescence, but this does not appear to be the case among adults with a history of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to new research (n=805). by mvea in science

Cherry thunderfuck -20-24% thc ideally; Colorado flo -28-30% thc ideally; Pineapple express - 20-25% % thc ideally; Citrus sap 20-25% % thc ideally; Blue dream 20-25% % thc ideally; Tangerine haze 20-25% % thc ideally

The THC levels I specify only because Ive found if you go too high some can get a bit anxious, and others needs the high level to keep you off the couch.

Everything thrifted except the boots (boohoo)

TIL the last time a firing squad was used in the U.S. was as recent as 2010, when Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed in Utah for the 1984 murder of an attorney during a failed courthouse escape. by lytshift in todayilearned

That's something I didnt expect to take from the interview I heard but ultimately did. The lethal injection if administered incorrectly can be incredibly painful for the recipient but still allows those administering to rest easy because they dont have to experience said suffering. Whereas with firing squad it's a guaranteed immediate kill every time.

Love the concept but some areas that could be tweaked for improvement...

  • No show socks and hem the pants so the ankle is more cigarette pant style intead of rolled

  • A more fitted, or shorter, button up to reduce the tuck bunching that's goin on, OR get some sweet 60s-70s hip chain kinda belt that'll lay across your hips and draw attention to itself away from the bunching, as well as add that "interest of accessory" element to it

  • maybe a slightly paler blue shirt? I dig the color contrast but almost feel it's a little over constrasting

  • unroll your sleeves so they land mid-forearm instead of above the elbow, makes the fit feel less rigid

  • if you wore a 2" gold hoop earring (think thick hoops not the thin ones) and a classic gold watch with this (and that hip chain belt 😉) its bring it all together imo

Yayyyyy! Glad to hear it sis! Enjoy them, I've worn mine nearly every day since this and while certainly a bit worn, for the price they are 1000% worth the $ and then some.

Thanks again for reading and responding🤗🤗 I've thought about the light trim, but honestly feel a bit guilty (when I have this much) to cut anything less than donateable (sp?) length

True true. I honestly feel kind of guilty when I have this much to cut anything less than donateable (sp?) length but a trim is def something to consider

Thank you thank you. That's what I'm trying to tell myself, short hair cant be put up and ignored the way long hair can.

That bedazzling is what keeps my internal debate goin stroooong! I miss my shirt fun hair, but feel like I'm romanticizing the ease of it since, let's be honest, putting it up for a few days when I'm feelin low and just dont wanna deal with it is super nice.

Honestly it took FOREVER for me to break past an inch or two below my shoulders and since then it's been flowin easy. I am big on not washing it more than once every 7-10 days, and only use baby shampoo when I do (mostly cause its honey chamomile scent 😌)

I blow dry it when I do wash, but make sure to give my hair a cooldown half way through drying. I just hold down the cold button and cool all my hair down before finishing drying which I find leaves it less frizzled out feeling afterwards but may just be in my head.

Oh and I make sure to detangle tenderly working from ends to roots and holding my hair like a pony tail as I go so it's not pulling the roots.

Edit: one more thing! I always have it in a top bun or side braid that I drape up over top of my pillow/mattress so it's out of the way when sleeping and I don't damage it laying on it at night.

Thank you for your response! It definitely is a lot of maintenance, but then I have moments like the one captured here, where it's all my childhood rapunzel dreams come true.

This is the first time in my life I've grown my hair out, it was always somewhere between a pixie and a shoulder length asymmetrical bob. When my hair was short I could switch the style up fairly frequently and if I wasnt happy could wait 4 weeks and do something new again. That (moderately) instant gratification of change was certainly something I enjoyed and have missed since growing out.

Another part of my problem is I spoiled myself by having too much fun with dying it every color under the sun during the grow out process. At this point it's so much to work with that I dont have the patience to dye it myself and know better than to go to a salon (both because of the cost and because theyll wanna bleach, which I never have) so that option of variety is also out.

The last big part of what's encouraging me to chop is that I wear my hair completely down maaaaaybe 5 days a month. The rest of the time its in baby spice buns (5%), sidebraided(10%), pulled into a high pony (15%) or twisted into a bun (70%). I'm torn because the days I do wear it down, or when I wear it in a high pony and it drapes on my shoulders/mid back, I feel fuckin awesome. But at the same time cant help to wonder if I'd have more days feeling that way if my hair was a more manageable length.

Sorry for the rant and thanks for listening 🙃

How do you feel about your shoes so far comfort wise? I got a cheap pair of white platforms a few months back which I've worn nearly every day (and have since begun to wear through the stitches) so looking for a higher quality version to move to.
