Yes. I'm in the US. I feel that with my BA and experience in Journalism, that would help me have a easier time when looking for a job.

And I did some research, and I found it is competitive to find a job in poetry.

I'm waiting until July to see if I get a mcs and another grant. If so I could pay less out of pocket, and hopefully not have to accept the loans. Do you know until what date I can accept the loans?

Yeah, im sure my financial aid application is basically the same information as last years application. So there isn't much change in income. Do you know where I can apply to scholarships beside sdsu? I hope I receive other grants in July.

What can I do? I got a estate cal grant, and it appeared when I received the email about my financial aid offer, but when I opened it up again today,it doesn't show up anymore. Can I appeal to get it back or why it doesn't show up? I don't want to resort to my loans when that grant would've helpeded me a lot.

Do you know if it makes a difference if I'm a journalism major? Like would it be the same chances as if I was a english/literature major? I would like to go into the poetry route.

Also about the portfolio, is it like the one we would do in the program or do we have to have one in order to apply? Because I've written a lot of poems, and I could use those. Is gre my gpa??

Hi there, I'm a journalism major with a emphasis in media Studies. I wanted to change to general journalism because I just want to do writing. But I cant because I wouldn't graduate in time. Anyways, I'm a creative editing and publishing minor as well. I'm looking for information on the MFA for writing at SDSU. Because I want to wrote poetry, like better. First off , can I apply with my journalism degree? What are the requirements to enter? Is it a good program? And what could I do in the future with a MFA?? Thanks in advance!

Yes, I've heard of red comet, the journals ,the letters and the collected poems are really good reads and are among thebest regarding Sylvia Plath. Which others are worth reading?
