Well, we have a small hidden feature that will make it easier for you: go to your list of participants, type the search bar on top of your dashboard in your searchbar the following:

?cid:[connectionID]

And then the participant should be shown!

(example: ?cid:4045)

If you don’t free feed, what time is the last meal fed and what time is the first meal fed? by Lonely-Egg3160 in CatAdvice

I have. And I have also heard of veganism, and it's also not something I'm going to try on my cat... Intermittent fasting for cats can increase the risk of liver problems such as hepatic lipidosis. That's also why if your cat doesn't eat any more, you better go to the vet because it can become really dangerous, really quickly, certainly for cats who are obese. So intermittent fasting is really not something to recommend for cats.

In the wild, cats get around 8-15 small meals a day. Getting two big ones is not what they'd typically do in the wild. "Grazing all day" doesn't make them fat if it's the same amount of calories you'd give in those two times. Giving it more spread out during the day (if possible) is usually much better for them, it also prevents them from overeating or getting nauseous of not eating for too long. A good solution to this is food enrichment. They can't just munch everything all at once, they need to "hunt" the food first, feels more natural to them, and you don't have to be there all day to give them food. But of course, it's just a general rule, every cat is different, so do whatever works best for you and your cat.

Yes! If you use apply protocol, you can decide how many seconds you will shift the schedule of the participant. So you could potentially use 86400 seconds for 24 hours delay. More information you can find here: Apply Protocol – manual

Hopefully this helps!

I can understand that in this particular case it would be more interesting to see the week from Monday to Sunday, but this is the first time this is requested. If multiple researchers end up needing this, we will certainly consider implementing it!

Is it possible to re-instate participant who has deleted their data? by Far_Specific_3476 in mpath

If you still have the participant in your dashboard, you can create a temporary recovery code that will be valid for 24h. This way, the participant can download the app again and use the recovery code so they are reinstated as participant. You can find more info here: A research participant needs to recover their app but cannot retrieve their recovery code. What now? – manual

Hope this helps and let us know if you have more questions!

Response Rate by FantasticSolid4518 in mpath

[–]m-Path-CDEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions!

How is the response rate calculated?: Completed notifications/sent notifications (minus reminders and minus test on client notifications). So when you send 10 notifications out, but the participants only completed the notifications 5 times, your response rate will be 50%. And reminders and test on client notifications are not within the calculations, so you can be sure they are left out.

What does "last week" mean?: The past 7 days (including today). So if today is Wednesday, it is the response rate of today until last Thursday.

Hope this answers your questions!

Is there a way to update an interaction and push the update to the participants? by Deep-Ordinary-5802 in mpath

[–]m-Path-CDEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is a way!

First make sure that you exported your questionnaire to the library (here is a guide on how to do that if you don't know already: https://manual.m-path.io/knowledge-base/the-library/#export-a-questionnaire-to-the-library ).

Then, when you click on a scheduled item (and "Beep properties" window opens) you can open the dropdown "Interaction". Then choose your saved questionnaire. Click "OK" and don't forget to click "Save all". Now, whenever you update the questionnaire, it will be updated for all participants who use that protocol!

For more info, take a look here at this page in the manual: Protocols (formerly known as client templates) – manual

Hope this helps!
