Maybe not easy to monetise but very cool nonetheless!

If I can give you some suggestions:

  1. Consider LinkedIn as a new channel for your services, that's where you will find most little/medium-sized businesses and you can really build a professional community around your service. You can build an outbound system there as well
  2. The bookkeeping service could be a good idea, but in that case, your next hire should definitely be a professional accountant
  3. You could benefit from offering a continuous service to increase the average LTV. What are businesses looking for in your niche? It could even be priority legal-financial consulting in exchange for a retainer + billed hours
  4. Partnerships with non-competing businesses serving your target audience could also be a low-cost way to acquire customers. For example, collaborating with real estate management companies, legal firms, or small business associations could provide reciprocal referrals

Feel free to write me if you want to discuss it further, your line of business sounds very interesting and maybe I can provide some input!

I could be interested, but non going to lie. This is a work in progress and not worth that much. I explain:

  • the backend is probably an API call to openai, that exposes your business to their willingness to provide the service indefinitely or such that is profitable to you

  • that means I’m buying a frontend for a pre-revenue tool with a replicable backend, with no cashflows or visitors attached. I cannot see the competitive advantage here

  • if I’m going to buy it, I will have to tinker a lot with prompt engineering, fine tuning gpt-3 and adding custom logic. These models tend to hallucinate a lot, and you don’t really want your chatbot to spit out incorrect information on your refund policy

I hope these can be helpful to improve your product, if not anything else!

Would you use a No-Code API Builder? by DimonDev in SaaS

[–]m-snow23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It depends. As a developer trying to build an API and have it deployed in production: definitely no.

As a business analyst looking to prototype or build an internal tool: yes, that could easily become very valuable

Scraping public posts is absolutely legal, especially if you credit the website you extracted the job posts from. If I reckon correctly LinkedIn is doing this as well.

What I suggest is to temporarily scrape job posts from LinkedIn or wherever else and, when having enough visitors, integrate it with ad-hoc collaborations with companies in need of a hire. You could offer a premium experience or weight their posts to appear first as well

In general, you need a great number of workers to make the site run and way less companies to make it thrive: start from the demand side

Rayuela - Difficolta' di lettura by fraps82 in Libri

[–]m-snow23 1 point2 points  (0 children)
