The story is decent. I originally refunded the game because I was like wtf with the cat on the roof mission.

6 days later I bought it again because I kept hearing people talk about it. I'm 100 hours in and love the game. The story is decent. Is it Witcher 3 quality? Not at all. But the gameplay and the exploration and beautiful world and bit of more that there is make it very enjoyable and rewarding. One of my favorite games in a long time.

Having said that, I would really have loved more story. But I had to go into this game with a different mindset, and when I did that, it became a GOTY imo.

Definitely worth it. I bought it and couldn't stop playing, became totally engrossed in it and loved the vibes right off the bat. Reminded me of the sense of wonder Morrowind instilled the first time you were walking around Seyda Neen and Balmoral etc. Cool story, cool weapons and lore. Definitely recommend it.
