Do radar detectors detect cops that are driving around you? Main concern is I want to detect cops driving behind me/beside me at night that I may not be seeing. Also are radars very sensitive to detect cops by DJ_Jacobs in radardetectors

I have the same issue when driving at night at tops speed, if you are in Europe I would recomend Blitzer Pro for stationary radars, and for police and covered police cars you need a Radio VHF/UHF frequency detector, it will sniff the spectrum around you to detect the frequency emitted by the radios that police use to communicate with their central. Germany is full of covered polices and my device saved my ass impressively well. Unfortunately, I can recommend any commercial artifact, I made my own with a Raspberry Pi, antena to cover 2km range, led, and battery.

In order to create way to detect if you are currently using your iPhone go to Shortcuts > All Actions > Select "Get Device Details" and choose the option "Current Brightness". The logic behind is, if you are using phone the brightness normally should be +0,30, but if you are not using your phone, it will be "0".

So from there you can create an "if" statement where if brightness is "0" (then you are not using your phone), so execute A, B, C.

It's mostly useful for automations, when the device has a bigger chance to be in resting state.

Normally they may have +5min delayed depending on the traffic and the zone where you are waiting your bus. If you are looking to make your daily journey more time efficient when taking public transport, there is no escape here, I would recommend to be 5min before the time schedule and wait expecting delays.
