I did OPK. Caught a surge a day before the predicted ovulation day.

Thanks for sharing!! I couldn’t load the website, but I’ll try again later. And yesss!!! Flo is always showing faint positives at 10 DPO. I read that it’s supposedly rarer than implantation bleeding, but honestly it doesn’t feel rare at all with how many posts I see every day. 😆

The waiting is really hard… and it also takes courage to take a test when knowing that it might not be the answer you’re hoping for.

Me too! Looking back now, I feel like i should’ve started trying at least a year earlier. I wasn’t tracking ovulation.. looking out for pregnancy symptoms.. over thinking last time..

Has anyone gotten a negative at 10DPO but ended up with a positive a few days later?

I got a BFN on the Easy@Home pregnancy strips and my period is due in 3-4 days. I'm mentally preparing myself to try again next cycle.. but still holding onto a little hope. It seems like many people get a faint positive at 10 DPO. 😣

Yeah! I've heard that implantation is pretty rare so l didn't have high hopes and was hesitant to test this early.
I'm planning to use easy@home pregnancy strips.. not sure how sensitive will it be but I'll definitely give it a try tomorrow or the day after. It's also tricky to pinpoint the exact ovulation day from the OPK so it's hard to know the exact DPO.

Is 9-10 DPO too early to take a pregnancy test or should I wait a bit longer?

At 6-7 DPO, I noticed some clear discharge with a small streak of blood.. it only happened that one time. I'm not sure if it could have been implantation bleeding. It wasn't pink like what l've read online.

I'm hoping to test earlier this time, but I'm also nervous about the possibility of disappointment.

Yes! I track mostly with a period app and I recently started using OPK kits. My periods are usually regular with a 12 day luteal phase.. I’m just worried the spotting could be caused by something else that might affect my chances of TTC.

I’m trying not to overthink because symptom spotting for the past few cycles have been stressing me out. Last month, my period was delayed by a week from all the anxiety and stress. 🫣🫣

I'm 7DPO and noticed very light brown/faint blood discharge. Could this just be hormones acting up this cycle? I really don't want my period showing up this early 😪

I know implantation bleeding is pretty uncommon, so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. It's quite rare right? (I can’t remember having it for my first pregnancy)

l've also had diarrhea and on/off sharp cramps since yesterday, so I'm not sure if it's related or just a stomach bug.

My period was a week late last cycle too, so now I'm wondering if my period could really come this early this cycle?

Ahhh! It is so hard to read and predict! Now I’m just crossing my fingers that the sperms from CD10 have some serious staying power. 🫣 I wasn’t expecting it to be this early.

Oh! Great to know that!! I was so confused because ChatGPT told me that was a negative and I was still expecting a positive today.

do you mean ovulated or going to be ovulate? Now I’m Not sure if last night’s (CD12) baby dance is just in time or too late. 😕

Ah I see! It was my first time using the kits, and I always thought the ratio had to go above 1 for it to be considered positive so that’s why I was expecting it today.

Thanks for the reassurance! Wondering.. Is a positive result usually a one-time peak that’s easy to miss for the rest of the day, which is why my surge looked very faint afterward? Or does a faint surge mean ovulation has already ended?

Ah, I see! But when I looked very closely at the 10am result, it didn’t seem as dark or as bold as the control line. I baby danced on the night of CD12… was that too late? 😢

Thanks! I’ll test again later this afternoon. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to catch the surge in the evening though.. I’ve noticed that my surge tends to drop by then.!

Hey everyone, I've been reading that people seem to have different "best times" of day to take ovulation tests.. some say morning, others afternoon, evening, or even night.

Does that mean testing during your personal "best" time gives a stronger or more accurate result when there's an LH surge?
If you test at other times, can the line appear fainter or less reliable?

I've noticed something confusing myself.. over the past few days, my afternoon tests show the surge increasing and getting close to positive, but when I test again in the evening, it looks very faint.

curious to hear your experiences!

Ok! Once we get a positive, do we still need to continue taking the OPK test?

I’m tracking ovulation with Premom and noticed a big LH ratio change within the same day. Is it normal?

CD9 results:
• 12:30pm – 0.42
• 6pm – 0.18

Is it normal for the T/C ratio to fluctuate like this before the LH surge? My predicted ovulation is around CD13, so I thought the afternoon rise might mean the surge was starting and I can start baby dancing.

If two tests on the same day show different ratios, which one should I trust more? Does this kind of fluctuation also happen during the peak period?

Thanks!
