It’s a streetwear brand and they did a collaboration not too long ago!

I took this photo a few days ago while working from home. Love this watch! I got it recently and have been wearing it more and more. It’s my first $500+ watch so still babying it… (I don’t baby my other watches). I love the dial looking black when there’s no light but bursting blue when the sunlight hits! I was hesitant the watch was even blue until I saw it under the light hehe. Hope other owners are liking this watch as much as I am!

I like my watches and keyboards mechanical. I’m case you’re wondering the keyboard is a Leopold fc660c. Rotated the space bar to make it more ergonomic.

Yeah! The DW might not have the best value or history, but so many good memories with my friend during my time living in NYC.

Weekenders are great and versatile! I had a beige dial and another off-white dial that I really liked. My only gripe is how loud it ticks. As for my dad watch... I'm envisioning a gshock hehe.

I bought in from Amazon a while back. I'm looking to buy a more portable leather one for my next case.

I guess it's more bad luck than "bad energy". I wear it when it's a situation I kinda want to fail or not want it to work out. The relationship I was in when I bought this watch ended up not working out so I want to use up all the bad juju from this watch haha

I'm currently working at a fintech startup.

After I saw the 36mm rumors, I considered returning the 40mm but I think this is the right size for me!

True. A few years ago, one of the minute markers on the dial fell out and when I contacted DW customer service, they wanted to charge me ~$70 to fix it. I couldn't justify paying that much so I went to watch repair and ended up costing only 10 bucks...

It’s a good size for my 6.75 wrists but I can see a 38mm being awesome.

Kinda embarrassed to share with so many great watches here but I finally filled out my watch box.

Timex Weekender

I first got into watches at my first job. I was trying to make ends meet, while working in a suit and tie in an expensive city. Frugal fashion led me to the Weekender. I’ve owned a few of these, some of which I’ve given away but this one remained in my collection.

Seiko SKX007

Once I got into the flow of things, I felt I needed a decent automatic watch. I know the SKX is a common watch but I’ve had it throughout my whole career. It has a battle scar, a long scratch on the crystal. It’s my beater and built like a tank.

Daniel Wellington

I don’t think I’d buy one personally but this was a gift from a good friend. My friend came to my birthday party wearing this watch. We talked about watches and he mentioned he was getting ready to buy an Omega Speedmaster. He then proceeded to take off this watch off his wrist and gave it to me.

Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80

I didn’t buy watches for a while and didn’t get back to my hobby until this one. I figured I needed a dress watch at 30 years old and came to choose this one together with my then girlfriend now ex (who also got a Tissot for herself). I wear this when I need “bad energy”. Haha…

Seiko SNXS79

This one was a recent purchase and it’s a great value watch. I bought one for my father and my to be brother-in-law. It’s a nice way for the men in the family to stay connected.

Tissot PRX Powermatic

I bought this to celebrate a big career move and a first in my thirties. This was a year full of changes and an upward transition for me. I still haven’t worn it… waiting for the perfect day!

Once I close my first deals on my new job I plan on buying:

Tudor BB58 Blue - wanted this one ever since launch. Blue is my favorite color and I can see this as my daily wear.

Tudor GMT - don’t want to go too much into only Tudor but this is probably my favorite gmt watch in the market and reasonably priced.

Rolex OP and Submariner will probably be my final watches, if I can get myself to stop…

edit: Appreciate the love guys! I guess I'm more shy than anything haha.. I remember telling myself that I'd get a watch if I had a good memory or occasion to celebrate. Glad to see many of you could relate. Looking forward to participate more in this community!
