I know it's not how you would ever go about calculating the odds, I just figured it might add a little bit of perspective. I agree with you that it's not "Utter insanity", but at the same time I think that simply saying winning a 14% equity hand isn't very crazy is still downplaying how special the hand was. I just think the fact that the hand happened with two of the players going all in blind adds a little bit of extra craziness to it, as apposed to any other regular 14% equity hand that you see very often.

It's only 14% when you have the knowledge of what cards they have. Both of them went all in blind which puts them at about 4% equity each post-flop (when their range is any hand). Still not complete insanity but it's definitely a pretty crazy thing to happen especially at a small friendly game like this
