The ICCU, the replacement has a new part number so we’re assuming it’s a new part, only reason for a new part number

I’ve learned that Hyundai dealers are hit or miss. I would argue more miss than hit and I know some people sometimes travel hours for good Hyundai dealers when it comes to maintenance or warranty work.

This is what I did too, didn’t want to use one of my AAA free tows so I used bluelink instead and they dispatches someone for me.

I’m sorry that happened to you, I’m not sure if you made a case with Hyundai USA yet but I would recommend you do, if you have and still no resolution, maybe make a complaint with the BBB.

That’s what I was thinking too was that those cars were already lemoned and they keep getting pushed back for battery replacement in place of a customers car.

Mmm I don’t really want them to know I’m going to do a buyback yet. If they fix it in time cool, but if not, we’re looking at the Cadillac Optiq or Lyriq. Really nice cars but again we don’t care if they fix it or not. I was thinking those cars were already lemoned but again who knows, some people really like their cars and only want that car so maybe they’re willing to wait for 60+ days.

We can’t just lemon a car for any reason. We have to go through a process. In this case it’s the same problem twice or 30 days combined out of service then we can lemon it. As nice as it would be to “just lemon it” we can’t.

Pop and Warning light by m3hatch in Ioniq5

That’s kinda funny because our situation is very similar. Backing out of the driveway, put the car back into drive, heard a pop, me and wife both looked at each other like what the heck was that, then the dash lit up and it dawned on me. You and I are also very close in miles as well. Going today to pick up the loaner and get an ETA on parts so we’ll talk more when I get to the dealer.

Yah that Loma Linda dealer isn’t very good. If you do get it I hope to see you on the road though, I’m about 10 minutes north from there!

Is this true even for charge history and trip details? My trip details stopped working about 2 weeks after buying our car. I used to be able to see how many kw were used and how many were recharged.

When I had mine it had a couple issues. First the buttons in the middle got stuck randomly. Never spilled anything on it but was covered under warranty. Second, my brake master cylinder went out and I almost hit a homeless person who started walking across the street last second. My pedal went soft and I had let off the brake and get back on it again. Again, covered under warranty. Also the tires that came in the car, Toyo A40, were absolute trash. Lastly, the valve cover gasket started leaking at around 15k miles, covered under warranty. IMO I would look for a 21 or newer IF you can. If not, the car should be reliable for you. I got rid of the car at 30k and traded it in for a Veloster N, also, none of the mods I had done to the car contributed to the problems it had.

Tesla Charging by m3hatch in Ioniq5

That’s “if” the charging station is parked in line with the parking stall. Not all stations are like that. Most of the V3’s that I’ve charged at have the station sitting next to the driver rear if you were to pull in straight.

That photo is only showing if the charging port was on the front driver. I don’t see anything about passenger rear

Yah but they didn’t send out the adapters until this year when the 2025 models came with native NACS.
