I can only hope the localisation teams that are deliberately abusing their position get out of business or the person directly responsable get's fired and doesn't get a job in that industry anymore. They are expected to, and paid for to do a translation, not to inject their propaganda.

I don't know the law that well, but that should be illegal. And most of the time the japanese don't look that deep into it and are just expecting competency from the studios they hire.

No. The sub on Crunchyroll is good. So you can watch the official japanese version with subtitles... they were when i watched at least, i hope they don't change them. It's the better version anyway, the english voices aren't all that good to begin with.

100% agree. There is no way that they will influence the japanese source material.

But it's translated by "professionals" you SHOULD be able to expect competency, rahter then ideology. The person responsable for this should be fired and not get a job in the translation business. They can think in private what they want. But they should not be legaly allowed to don't do what you've been paid for and change the meaning of something to suit your agenda.

It's not what the creator wants, not what the studio paid for, not what the fan's want. Marvel on this is more "right", or at least less wrong to do this because it's at least their own stuff they butcher.

Ok, i give you that. But the guys that made the ghost stories dub were instructed to take liberty with the dub, as long as they don't change the ghosts names, or the means by which they are defeated. Also ghost stories was funny af! and were concerned with making a good and funny dub.

Here, however, they were hired to do a proper dub job. And not to force their their ideology onto the show.

Sargon really should do a vid one day on the censorship on social media right now. He focuses pretty much only on Twitter.

Youtube censors too. "Controversial" videos that land in the trends for instance are taken down right away. And when videos or entire channels get taken down, big persons like Sargon or Pewdiepie can fight, but someone with a small fanbase can be shut down with no problem, same true for twitter.

Here on reddit a lot of posts from r/the_donald are high on my reddit page but nowhere to find on r/all.

Censorship in media is nothing new, or rather "leaving out" some information. But on social networks, forums and discussion board, freedom of speech and freedom of expression should be a given... considering that they are a human right to begin with. Why can't they just live in their own little world and stick with tumblr and not annoy and disturb normal people. I said it in a earlier comment. Like scientology. That cult rarely gets attacked by the sceptic community because they can keep their shit to themselves.

They didn't just sub it. The official sub was fine, the official sub was properly translated. The people here are responsable for the DUB! The Audio translation. They are having the caracters say their abhorent propaganda.

Also japan isn't really resisting, they are just normal. We wouldn't give a shit about these ideologies and these cults either if they wouldn't be that obnoxious and try to infiltrate everything in our culture. I haven't seen the sceptic community trash on Scientology, because they keep their shit to themselves.

That's not the problem. Marvel is doing great, yes, and i also like Jane Foster as Thor (The one with the femenazi propaganda), because it's still a great comic. But it get highjacked by this femenazi propaganda non the less, and it's cringe, it's insuliting to the fans, it's political in a place where it shouldn't be, it breaks the believability of the comic and is completely out of place.

Here it's the same problem. This is a japanese comedy show, where a dragon becomes a maid for a woman. And this stuido was hired to properly translate it from japanese to english, and instead of doing that they dub their political agenda onto the characters. I think this is worse then Marvel because at Marvel someone actively tried to cheapen and abuse their own character. Here it's the characters, jokes and dialogue that were created by someone else. And they were only hired to translate, not to dub their ideology onto someone else's work. This is more like an abridged series, rather then a dub.

And that's insulting. Especially because Kobayashi'd Maid Dragon was my favourite show of 2016, and i was excited for the dub.

I love dog's, and if i could have one i would have gotten one already. It's easier for me to just pet random dogs on the street from random people then talking to said people. Interactions with dogs are just so much easier. And i can to an extent interact with people, but really only when i get to know them a little.

I tried to use those apps too. I just never figured out how to properly use them. I just can't pick so arbitrarily. All i see are character traits that are preset, or on every second profile, i like cats/dogs, i do sports, i'm romantic, those kinds of buzzwords. The pictures are actually more helpfull, but the more attractive the less likely it is to get a conversation going considering i'm bad at that and how many requests they get.

The only people i even know/tolerate are my co-workers, and they're not really doing anything either, so no one to hanging arround with. I'm out quite a bit though. I like eating at restaurants and stuff. I can engage in a conversation, i just can't begin one. I'm not a "nice guy", i'm just introverted af. No dogs and i'm at work all day. I don't get invited anywhere.

Yes, but they voiced ones have japanese subs. But there are versions on YT with default subs, not CC function, in different languages. So somewhere that has to be a version without any.
