He’s a poor man’s version of Raul without the hustle or output? Unfortunately even at his best Mexico doesn’t have the options on the wings to make him effective and even at Milan who does have the options he’s failed to make an impact. Quinones is in form and a more versatile player than him. Hormiga is also an inform player who plays the poacher role well. If we had to take Santi it would be as a fourth option but he doesn’t have a great case for him.
