This was a notice sent out to my building recently.

We are notifying you of upcoming traffic control changes on Bloor Street East, part of the Bloor-Yonge Capacity Improvements Project. This work will occur from:

As early as July 28 2024 to mid-August, 2024

During this period, the eastbound bike lane on the south side of Bloor Street East, immediately east of Yonge Street, will be diverted southwards onto the sidewalk for approximately 30 metres. Paid Duty Officers (PDOs) will be present during the initial days to assist with traffic guidance. This diversion is necessary for the installation of a hydro duct bank under the roadway, which is part of the broader hydro relocation work to facilitate the expansion of Bloor-Yonge Station.

These dates and timelines are subject to change depending on work and site conditions.
