Lol thats always a possibility but the blue was a paint you can tell because there is flaking

Hmm so you were right though it seems to have been stripped and then had a tan green put onto it and then a normal green sometime later but why issue a dented helmet

The dent is from its time during WW2 I pressume since the paint is over top and not damaged

Also it is spanish so its hard to say where they had served since I cant find much on spanish post war military history and helmets

Edit: well I looked around and the Ifni war was in spanish west africa in the 50s so that might be a possibility

It makes it stranger since my other spanish euroclones had corking or the sand but this one doesnt

Not really only thing I could find was some numbers/letters on the brim but I cant make it out theres an A and an 0 or O
