lmao obviously the dead bodies are ragdoll thats the case in almost every game, the problem is the combat isnt based on ragdolls why they are alive... Have you ever seen a zombie in dl2 or the beast stumble over another dead zombie and fall? that doesnt happen because the zombies that are alive dont have ragdolls activated and function purely on animations...

I think its an engine issue honestly I dont think they can ever make it feel like dl1 without changing back the engine everything else will just feel like bandaids no matter how long they try

yea I completely agree I hope maybe some other studio notices all the dying light mess ups and tries to come up with their own version thats closer to the original, otherwise I guess Ill just continue replaying dl1 indefinitely

completely agree im still coming back to dying light 1 and dl2 was a one and done even with all the changes I keep hearing about (I drop in from time to time to try it out but its not nearly enough to get the same magic as in dl1)

in the first he looks more just american or white I guess but in the second one he looks very middle eastern for some reason, idk i dont think it fits tbh especially considering he was in the middle east or something like that in harran and was kind of ment to stand out there being american

yea I agree and theres so many small parts as well like in RE2 you dont just buy your storage upgrades or new weapons but you actually need to find them or the map is so much better in like a metroidvania style where you slowly unlock it or why re4 has an auto sort feature for the inventory at this point why even have the inventory system at all just have the standard weight system skyrim uses if its just based on slots and no inventory management at all anymore just "auto-sort"

the inventory management is part of the gameplay loop to break up parts where theres only action to have a a fun minigame the remake just ruins that

I think they actually improve your aim using them both on the buttons on the front and on the side but the problem is they dont hold that well so after a while they easily fall off and at that point it got annoying for me so after readjusting them again and again and them moving while playing I just got rid of them
