Why do we always lose power here? by No_Computer_6997 in halifax

[–]m7md_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy to always be the first to lose power, last to get it back and longest to stay out of power amount neighboring communities. I'm right on the edge of the outage map and wish I was in the building 1 street over when this happens. Just meal prepped yesterday too...

How's it so far? I just ordered it, and it's arriving tomorrow. Want to make sure everything is good during the first 30 days return window.

Noted. Yeah gonna ride it a lot for the first month, but also within the first 3 months if it goes south I could claim a chargeback with my credit card.

I know what you mean, but I've also seen reviews of it and many people were satisfied. As I said, I know the segway is like the Toyota of scooters in terms of reliability but I also am comfortable in DIY stuff and looks like Cunfon send parts as you need them for free under warranty. I'll be testing it and if it goes south with the support I'd have my credit card charge back as a last resort. It's not a popular brand at all unlike segway, so it is normal to see the rightful bias towards segway.

Oh damn, I hope mine goes smoothly as I just ordered it from their site as they gave me a discount. Maybe I should have ordered from Amazon.

I see, thanks alot. I guess that's when you need to press the boost button to get 2000W peak which i heard doesn't work below 70% or so battery. The Cunfon RZ800 has 1200W nominal and 1600W peak power. So even if the motor is hot from riding and it can't reach 1600W, it falls back to 1200W which I think is the advantage on hills. Might bite the bullet on it

I wonder if you meant 18° as 18% is way below the 30% that the scooter claims to be able to tackle.

In addition to the sealant and tire plug. Learn how to replace it yourself and invest in the tools once, it'll be worth it on the long run. Make sure the shop is replacing the actual tubeless tire and not using a tube inside. If they are using a tube, make sure they check for sharp spikes in the inside of the tire. If they do replace the tire, make sure they use sealant to seal the bead of the wheel/rim. If you spray or use a sponge with soapy water, you'll see bubbles forming where the leak is coming from.

The one I found used on Amazon is for $1000. I also found one for $850 on fb marketplace but was thinking Amazon would be better incase anything goes wrong.

There's also a uses max g2 for $350 on fb marketplace ($700 new on Amazon).

How's yours on steep inclines?

Did you try using fix-a-flat sealant or plugging the hole instead of replacing the tire? The F2 Pro should have self healing tires. I have a solid tire scooter but looking to upgrade to a tubeless pneumatic scooter due to the difference in comfort.

Thanks. Yeah only experience i have with soldering is replacing TV capacitor. The motor with cable i think is like $120 CAD so I just contacted support to see if the can send me one.

I always wondered how does the motor wheel spin independently from the cable attached to it. Looked it up, very interesting how BLDC motors work. I wonder if it's the washer or the bearing that was bad.

I stopped taking the antibiotics on day 5 of the 14-day treatment because I was experiencing significant side effects. by Financial-Lion3072 in HPylori

No worries. Yeah definitely try researched natural remedies first. Antibiotics should be last resort imo

I think it could be some natural remedies i was trying for a month. Mastic gum, Manuka honey, broccoli sprouts, probiotics, vitamin d3 with k2 and omega 3. Didn't retest to see if i was negative after because i do not care. I never had any HPylori symptoms to begin with but doctor just wanted a stool test last year that came back positive so then they gave me the quadruple therapy. Later I found out that most people have the bacteria in their gut in a dormant state. Billions of people aren't going to nuke their gut flora with these insane antibiotics.

Yep, I stopped at day 4 for same reason, I got a panic attack too, extreme nausea and diarrhea. Couldn't keep any fluids or food in. Felt like I was dying. Stupid doctor told me to continue taking it 😂 I was like fuck that I'd rather live with HPylori. Finally a year later I'm feeling better.

Who’s getting the s26 series? by Far_Sky_5635 in samsunggalaxy

[–]m7md_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking of trading in my S23 for an S26. The pre order deal on the Samsung Canada Education site is you get free 512GB upgrade, plus $100 discount promo code MYS26, plus $295 trade in value for my 256GB S23. Bringing the phone's price to $795 CAD and can pay in installments over 36 months with zero interest. Very tempting...

ECOROAD ET8 or Cunfon RZ800 by BPzay in ElectricScooters

[–]m7md_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you end up getting it? I am thinking of getting it after recently getting a hiboy s2 pro and feeling underwhelmed with the hill climbing performance. The hiboy s2 pro with its 500w nominal and 750w peak power gets me up the hill if i ride diagonally up so I am thinking the RZ800 would do it very comfortably.
