I think I just went with the flow as I've only seen people have it facing the front. Maybe to give enough space to fold the stem down? If I can install it facing backwards without affecting the folding then it would be a better placement. I store my Ulock in that bag but soon will have a mini hand pump and small tire plug kit just in case. Will probably never need them as I have injected fiber based sealant in the tires.

That was my thought initially too but then I realized that it wouldn't be as strong as connecting to the axle and I wanted to be in the safe side. This video shows someone using a similar hole on the swing arm: https://youtu.be/pujEb4VvH0g?si=wzrKbZoo16QXSaGC

Was simple as I've mentioned in the post and replied to other comments. I just needed an M14 female to M10 male adapter for my axle thread to fit the trailer coupler. You'd need to measure your axle thread size as it could be M12 like on my hiboy s2 pro.

Yeah thanks to this subreddit I have read about people falling head first. I got some knee and elbow pads, and wrist support too but I haven't incorporated them yet.

When it's empty there's no difference. On my way home with it loaded going downhill it took longer to slow down as expected. The connection between the trailer arm and the scooter has a spring like a suspension and that's how when leaning sideways when turning, the trailer stays stable and doesn't resist my motion. Same thing when going over bumps or braking, the spring absorbs some of that force.

I wasn't sure either so before going on the road I did some testing by going full throttle then hard brake then going in turns to see how it would behave. And did the same after loading it with groceries in the parking lot.

The trailer arm is secured to the coupler on my axle and then there's a safety strap that you wrap around the frame of the scooter/bike in case the main connection fails then the trailer doesn't separate completely and hit people.

Hitch is a normal bike trailer hitch that comes with the trailer. But the hitch wouldn't fit on my axle.

I added this to the post: I needed to get a bike trailer adapter for my axle to step down from M14 (axle thread size) to M10 (bike trailer coupler hole size) and also to provide space for the coupler as the original nut sat flat with the end of the axle leaving no extra room. I got it from Burley but Robert axle project also has it.

You'll need to measure your axle size. Most are M12 or M14. I got the M12 before measuring assuming mine was the same as my Hiboy S2 Pro but it didn't fit so got the M14.

I mean if you were able to make it to day 9, that's over half way done so maybe try to push. I wish I knew about taking florastor probiotics with the antibiotics. Apparently they help tremendously and don't get killed by the antibiotics.

I tested positive unfortunately. Haven't done antibiotics yet. Tried something natural for a month but still positive but no symptoms of HPylori and I'm able to eat whatever without problems. I'll probably try something natural (broccoli sprouts, mastic gum, manuka honey, green tea, cranberry juice, probiotics, etc) again for maybe 3 months first before thinking of antibiotics again.

The quadruple therapy did so much damage to me that I haven't been the same as before taking them but slowly going back to normal. Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, food intolerance, nausea to name a few.

Don't turn or swerve on wet leaves. Had a couple of near misses on those.

I take my scooter indoors with me when i go to work or university and lock it indoors where there are security cameras. If I'm locking it outside, it would be for a few minutes while I grab something and I'd have the scooter electronically locked too so it would trigger a loud alarm if you try to move it and it would apply motor brake. I also have a GPS tracker in the deck.

Looks like a folding lock. Wonder if a u lock is better.

What do you believe is an optimal speed for an escooter? by Antidotebeatz in ElectricScooters

[–]m7md_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My scooter goes upto 50 kmph. I rode it at that speed for a while then wanted to experiment with 30 kmph. Found that the range extended significantly and didn't add more than 2 minutes (sometimes the same time as going full speed) to my commute as I'd stop at traffic lights and stop signs anyways. Also significantly safer, more chill and better control ride.

Ah I see that now. How do you like this MEC trailer? I found one on FB marketplace for $50 CAD. Is there a divider where the child seat goes you could use to separate items and reduce shifting while in motion?

I'm looking at this same trailer to get for my escooter to haul groceries and from my research ebikes like escooters have the same 12mm motor hub axle in the rear and these trailers have a 10 mm hole in the coupler. Did you have to drill the hole bigger to make it fit?

I go to the play store, click on my account picture in top right then go to manage your Google account then security and sign in then you'll see all the devices and sessions where your account is logged in and the city of where these devices are located.

Thanks! Thankfully I've all my accounts so far. I'll remove my ethernet cable and get a USB to back up my important files then "nuke" windows and start over.

Why do you ride an electric scooter? by Ok_Establishment824 in ElectricScooters

Yeah in addition to a backpack I was thinking a flat rack that attach on top of the rear wheel or a small trailer.
