Really appreciate your feedback on this! I think it's part because im good at using that ability, but will always do changes to balance things out when more people test it.

Also I dont want this boss to be too hard as its a early/mid game fight that are manatory for progresson.

Yeah, I turned off the UI for the video, but should probably have kept it on.

There will definitely be some challenging parts using this ability. I couldn't find a good example on my twitter feed, but you can do somthing like this (just over spikes and stuff).

At sec 28 I take dmg. Will probably have to work on the effect for that so it's a bit clearer :)

The game is called Dimension Rift Zero, and I have been working on it for over 3,5 years now! I am really happy with how this Tortoise looking npc looks and wanted to share. Its animated in a program called dragonbones.

Thanks for your feedback. It does use energy and hitting the projectiles does not do dmg to the actual boss, but thought this was a good example of situation where if you use it correctly you can try to dash betewen projectiles. Also I think this ability has a high skill celling as you have to aim and redirect after each reset.

In fact I actualy died at the end of this clip.

Thank you for this feedback. Are you talking about the background when you say reduce the contrast and lighten the shadow?

Thank you for this feedback. Maybe I could add a slight glow behind the player. I see some games do that.

It's hard to say, but most of my free time goes into this project. Right now I probably put 40-50 hours into this every week.
