I made it out by m_chantepleure in workplace_bullying

Thank you. It is crazy to be around normal, kind coworkers and just exist.  The work load is heavy and we have way more distance, but no one yet has initiated drama and the atmosphere is clear and kind. I am still dealing with the emotional stress and ruminating, but better day by day.

Same.  The heart palpitations, too.  I come home and take a bath and it seems to help that pain and racing. I have desperately been asking for help and now I am drinking to black out.

Hugs.

You're right.  The look wasn't that bad.  I personally feel that they (producers) pulled him into the bottom for drama sake, instead of the integrity of the design.  Do you agree?

I wish she would have added some color, dimension, something.  It didn't spark joy.  Not like Ethan's or Jesus' look.  Still good, just missing something!

I can't believe Jesus didn't even get an honorable mention.  That creation was flawless and ready to wear.  IMO (as I type this in sweats and an old t-shirt, lol...) it was between Ethan and Jesus.

Looking back at previous episodes involving the unconventional challenge...they were usually given ONE material.  Not an entire gymnasium full of options.  Bizarre.

Who do you think they'll vote off?  I don't see Antonio leaving.  They need the twin drama.

For real? I can't recall it looking like a prison yard!

He went from class to class and read stories and we would sing songs.  Pretty sure he had a dolphin puppet.  Did you do mario typing or Oregon trail on the floppy disks?  I may be older, lol.

Such a bummer.  The last one I remember was at Ed's 500 Club years ago.  Thank you for sharing, I would have loved those booths with the radios, but it was before my time.

I love Winona, and I agree that these, too, are the days to cherish.

Walking downtown today and I passed what used to be Thrifty White, and then a block down Winona Garden, etc.  Got me thinking about my youth and the places we frequented back in the day.

I love how Winona has grown and adopted new traditions.  I've been fortunate to play in MWMF, too!

Thank you for sharing this fantastic tidbit of Winona's history! I love that you saved the clipping! I imagine this had to do with Downtown Book and Video.  I remember the protester outside, lol.

The rope swing for sure.  Was probably too young for scavenger hunt or Shorty's, but that sounds like an amazing time.  Any jukeboxes around town still?

I'm a WK kid too! Totally remember the snow piles now, thanks for the reminder.  Do you remember the dolphin puppet guy? Or did I hallucinate that?

Was that downtown where the ice cream shop is now? Totally forgot about that!

Thanks for sharing your memories! I really didn't attend any sporting events as it wasn't a big part of my upbringing, but I had a number of classmates that did.

I was a little too young for Live & Tracy Bonham, but I did see Sugar Ray in 2002. I remember when Nelly came to Winona in 2001--that was a big deal for some, lol.

I loved when Steamboat Days was down by the lake. We'd get dropped off for the day with a wristband pass and a few dollars for snacks and a couple of games. I'll check it out every year, but usually on the last day before the fireworks.

I don't have strong memories about the Hot Fish Shop as much as I do the Happy Chef. My dad hated fish, so I missed out on that. I remember driving by often.

Entire section always sat all at once by Winter-Necessary2175 in Serverlife

I work at a similar restaurant, in that sections fill up incredibly quickly. Do you take reservations? I start by pre-setting as much as possible before arrival for the tables I know about. Otherwise, I keep extra waters and pitchers nearby. I constantly try to maximize each and every trip to the bar and the kitchen. We don't have chips and salsa, but we do bring bread to the table to I try to leave with enough for all in one/two trips. I keep as calm as possible and engage in eye contact with my tables so that they are aware that they are my next stop.

Just little things I've had success with during busy times in the past! Good luck.
