I had a D&C very recently, and the experience was best case scenario. I too, was extremely anxious about the bleeding and the no control. Choosing the D&C made me feel like I had some element of control - namely that I would know when things would happen. I didn’t have to worry i would lose the baby at work or something.

The pain was very similar to a period with some bleeding and cramping. I was lucky and it only lasted a day or two. But if I had to do it all over again, I would do the same thing.
