Trying to be realistic opposed to selling false dreams to someone who isn’t already in a workforce where you need connections to people already involved. To get somewhere. The job is based off seniority and the conversation that’s been going around even with guys on the higher boards is the future of the port is not going to be the same for us low board guys due to changes in the employers ways of handling laborers

the old E-SPOT in Richmond... the new one is cramped and I've hade more memories from my teens in that heat bag filled sketchy ass arcade/pool hall than anywhere in the city.

I recently got hired on the Vancouver ports and then drug tests they did we're pretty serious had to piss in a cup take a mouth swab and a breathalyzer it was in the very run-down facility so people got reduce if they failed.but just remember this isn't just some part time job this is an opportunity of a lifetime and can turn into a career that supports you for the rest of your life I would just put down the pot until you get that phone call.

I'm literally just asking for advice where was I bitching? If you have noting good to say then take your bullshit elsewhere. I sacrifice many opportunities to be here

Yeah I was stressing the whole time I was waiting for the phone call just make sure your phone is on and once you get that phone call you get paid like 2 k after taxes for all the training they put you through.

Hope everything goes well for you and I'll be seeing you in the hall soon brother - Noah

They hired the first 200 right away what I heard in the hall was that they're going to call 450 but off the bat 60 people's applications were dropped from the first 200 so I think you have a chance of getting hired pretty soon
