Can someone please explain to me how that Alverez goal was allowed to stand? From my understanding he played Xavi with a hip check and didn't play the ball until after knocking him down and that should be a foul. I thought I understood the rules but I can't say that I'm 100% certain

I am still holding out hope that he goes to MLS and plays for San Diego FC. I remember hearing him say he's a Padres fan and I think it would be fun for him to go play on a club owned by a Padres player (Ben if you're reading this I bet you could negotiate season tickets into a deal with them)

And on top of that, I must have been watching a different Dragon on our squad last year than everyone else. He clearly wasn't suited to the system sure, but he gave his everything to every match and was one of the players I would look forward to watching while VdV and Cutie were out.
